Great news! We have raised almost €350,000 in investment for our healthcare platform aimed at digital nomads.

The round was led by Krokodill Kapital, and investors who backed Salu in this round have experience from Estonia’s unicorn pipeline of Skype, Wise, Pipedrive, and Glia. The investment will be used to further product development and expand into new foreign markets.

“Within a short few months, we have proven that our service is essential for people who have moved to Estonia from a foreign country. Our rapidly growing number of users, as well as several collaborations with well-known start-ups and companies that are specializing in employee relocation – are a clear indication of that, “ said the CEO of Salu, Andreas Kotsjuba.

We consider employees of Bolt, Wise, and Yolo Group among its customers and have collaborations with TalTech, Jobbatical, ReloEst, and MoveMyTalent.

Pitched towards the digital nomad, Salu makes accessing healthcare more affordable through monthly packages, which contain all manner of services from consultations to prescription renewal, through the platform. We also offer offline consultations.

“Food is delivered to your doorstep by a delivery guy or a robot within 20-30 minutes, bank transfers can be done within seconds from your phone, but you still have to make an appointment to get medical care, which you usually have to go to in person. We want to take primary care on the same level as other services that people, especially those who move across countries’ borders, are using on a daily basis,” Kotsjuba added.
